It is the beginning of May and we are on the verge of summer. Temperatures climb into the 80s, and it’s hard not to get dizzy when thinking of the Summer: upcoming trips to the beach, popsicles, sunsuits, and, of course, barbecues. Summer Grilling is one of Summer’s best delight and few things are as good as a good burger by the pool, or some grilled sardines with bread right next to the seaside.

A Summer favorite in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain alike is churrasco: pork (or sometimes beef) ribs grilled on top of some charcoal, seasoned only with thick flakes of sea salt, and often eaten with bread, potatoes, or a salad. View full article »
