As the term implies, food that is included in the superfood category, is supposed to be high in nutritional value in order to be added. This kind of food and its superfood benefits are suppose to be capable of positively affecting general health. So, take a close look at this so-called superfood and the benefits that can be availed from them.

On the top of the scale are the DGLVs or Dark Green Leafy Vegetables. These vegetables are high in nutrient content such as Vitamin C, fiber, calcium, among others. Examples of DGLVs are Kale, Spinach, Swiss Chard, and Collard Greens. Other superfoods are berries like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
